Welcome to Math 210G. Some of the documents available on this web site
are not in standard html format, but are Latex files, the most common form
for mathematical documents. Netscape (or other standard browsers) will
not read these files but will instead ask you to tell it what program to
read in the file. Instead, what you can do is use the program "Scientific
Notebook" to read these Latex files. That program is a web browser specifically
designed to read Latex files. NMSU has a site license for Scientific Notebook,
and PC's throughout the university should be getting Scientific Notebook
in the near future. Probably the first place to get it will be the computer
lab in SH 118. There the Mathematical Sciences department has a lab of
about 20 PC's, and these will have Scientific Notebook available early
in the semester. If you wish to read this site with Scientific Workplace
or Scientific Notebook, use the web site

Note the ending is tex and not html, but that the rest is the same as the
