I was born in Spain and raised in Argentina. I probably should explain at this point the Josefina (Lolina) thing. My second name is Dolores and Lolina is the nickname I got at the time I was born. It is a variation of Lola, which is the official nickname in Spain for those unfortunate beings named Dolores. I do not think Josefina is much better, so I definitely go by Lolina whenever I can.
I claim the right to know what is in my food and in the soil that nurtured my food by putting my shopping bucks into organic fare. I believe what A.J. Muste once said, "There is no way to peace. Peace is the way." What else? I like to listen to classical music, although sometimes an Argentinian tango is the thing that hits the spot. I am learning to care for a large and happy family of New Mexican native plants. I am grateful for the growing number of interesting restaurants in Las Cruces and for the Mesilla Valley Film Society.
