The Mathematics department is housed in two adjacent buildings: Science Hall (SH), built in 1987, and Walden Hall (WH), built in 1966 and renovated in 1987. Three networked computer labs are housed in these buildings: WH27, SH118, and SH221/222. WH27 is a proctored undergraduate lab; SH118 is an open lab with 35 computers; and, SH221/222 are labs for graduate students. The computers have Windows XP, Maple, Matlab, Scientific Workplace, and the Microsoft Office Suite. A department specific login name is required.In addition , the deparment has a UNIX network with workstations being served from several other workstations/servers and a WINDOWS network being served by three servers all of this will be handled by Computer Operation Group
