1st Joint NMSU/UTEP Workshop on Mathematics and Computer Science
New Mexico State University, Las Cruces, New Mexico
Saturday, April 14, 2007
Purpose of the workshop
This is the first joint workshop between the departments of Mathematics and Computer Science of New Mexico State University (NMSU) and University of Texas at El Paso (UTEP). Although the two schools are only 45 miles away from each other, recently there was almost no interaction between mathematicians and computer scientists of the two schools. The main aim of the workshop is to initiate the interaction, exchange of ideas, and possible collaboration between our departments.
